ya he sounds like he is a little unsure or confused with his feelings. right now is probably your best chance to help him get back onto the boat before he decides that he doesnt want to be on it and jumps off. you have got to really talk and talk and talk. communication is a huge thing in marriage or pre marriage. talk about everything that you can. get an open line of communication where each person feels free to say whatever needs to be said. im telling you it still sounds like he wants in on this and yall just gotta talk a bunch. you dont need the fancy restaurant necessarily just a place to sit and talk for as long as you guys need to . even think of things that you would like to talk about. maybe you can first tell him that you would like to have a long talk with him and tell him to think of things he would like to bring up and then meet up and talk about it all
