What's more delusional and dangerous, religion or patriotism?

Religion is always delusional and dangerous. Patriotism is not necessarily either. It is only when patriotism rises to the level of blind nationalism ('my county right or wrong") does it become that way. There is nothing more patriotic than the man who, at risk to his life or freedom, stands up and says he country is doing wrong and tries to correct it.
