If being Gay was still against the law(sodomy laws) and consider a mental illness would you be openly gay?'?

you dont choose to be gay...this may be something weird to understand but it is just who you are. Judging from your question, i ume you are strait. Did you ever think, hey do i want to be gay or strait? Did you ever weigh the pro's and con's? The answer is most certainly no. You are strait, and thats who you are. You have always been strait and you always will be. That is your identity. You cannot change it, just how you cannot change your heritage. Define openly gay...Does that mean actually forming a relationship with the person you love? Being gay is a lifestyle. It definatly is not a mental illness. Pretend, that you are a black person. Black people were being hated, and descriminated against. Would revealing the fact that you care a person of color be a choice? Would telling you to not expose the fact that you are black even a legitimate argument? How would you feel if people told you to change the way you are?
