Why do our government make statics of things that isnt of importance?

like they make dumb statics on the most fattest cities in america, the most bulimic cities in america, how many black people they saw in arizona, how many mexicans sleep in alabama, white ppl are more educated than other races'', how many blk women are single/had kids out of wedlock,etc,etc their false statics goes on and on and am aware a lot of it is inaccurate counts. Most of their stats are bias(never points the flaws at whitey) because it seems whites like to degrade other races and not their own. My point is what is the point of the government making stats of these things that aren't really of important or shouldn't even be took into account anyways? who gives a hel what state is the fattest and what state has more black ppl or which white girl is the dumbest in the world. wtf is up with this????
