Help! Scorched Spaghetti Sauce! How do I fix?

I have a whole pot of homemade spaghetti sauce with meat and I accidentally scorched a couple of the meat on the bottom of the pan. I turned the heat down right away but now it has that "scorched" smell. Anything I can do to counter that?
