Why do Utd fans think that football was invented in 1992?

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all had there time as the dominant force in the top flight of English Football, it just happens that Man Utd have that honour at the moment, that's not to say that this could change, even as early as the 2009/10 season perhaps. I'm afraid I have to go back to the 1967/68 season to find my clubs dominance in the top flight. lol
